Labor Day 2020

This past weekend we spent Labor Day at the lake with a small group of family - it was a lovely, low key weekend with lots of laughs and probably a few too many drinks, but one of the best memories of the weekend, for me, was the kids on the Super Mable.  A neighbor was kind enough to let us borrow Mabel for the weekend so we could see if the kids liked it.  It was 100%, without a doubt, a success!!

The girls look so tiny on this giant tube but it's exactly the right thing for them at this age.  Its big enough for them to feel comfortable and stable, but when we pull it behind the speed boat it's just enough to make them feel that edge of fear that we all remember from out days as kids being pulled behind the boat.

Tiny Hazel would bounce 2 feet in the air when we'd go over the wake and she looked so tiny behind that big boat on that big tube.  Neither of the kids ever fell off, which is a success for the first time out....best not to scar them too early on!  I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of Mabel in our futures.  LOL!
