After having such a great time at the Sycamore race track back in June, we quickly added another date to our summer a calendars and invited even more friends. The second time back didn't disappoint, and we had a great time - plus we got this awesome group shot of some our favorite friends!
We brought along a stack of quarters for the kids and I played bookie for the evening, recording the cars each kid was betting on and doling out the money to whomever won. We told them they could use their money to buy snacks - which, win win! We were going to buy the snack anyways and this way we got a few hour of entertainment out of the quarters too.
The kids pooled their money to buy popcorn, gummy worms and M&Ms and then poured it all into the popcorn box to mix it up. It was all going fine until they spilled the whole box and then everyone was sad because they lost ALL the candy in one quick spill. Back to the snack stand the dad's went, and all was fine after that. We'll know better next time :)
