Abby's Spring Concert (7th Grade)

A month or two ago Abby came home with a huge grin on her face telling me "I have something to tell you" - she'd tried out for a solo in choir and was selected to perform during the spring concert.  I couldn't believe she tried out for it and I'm so proud of her for taking the chance and going for it.

Abby invited EVERYONE to the concert and boy did the show up!  We had a huge group of supporters - all there embarrassing her with every cheer and wave and grandiose gesture to show our love and how proud we were of her.  

Photos like this just warm my heart!  Everyone there to cheer for her and show her how loved she is.  I'm so thankful for all of these humans and the time and effort they made to make the day special for Abby.

The school also does an art show as part of the Spring concert and I couldn't believe the work the girls did!  Abby had three entries and Hazel had one.  Somehow we missed the third entry Abby had so I just have photos of two, but fear not!  These made it into the kids memory bins so they can sort through them when they are in their 30s and we unload these boxes onto the kids (lololo!)
